CEO & President — Elli Pittas
Elli Pittas is the President and CEO of Women’s HealthCare Imaging Center. Elli has close to thirty years of experience in the development and management of high technology diagnostic imaging facilities. Over the course of her career she has served in both executive management and board positions of publicly traded imaging centers, and run a successful medical billing company. For Elli that was only the beginning of the story.
As a result of her many years of experience she began to think about how to develop a center that delivered diagnostics using a holistic approach. Elli assembled a team of diverse health professionals that began to envision a radiology center designed exclusively for women. In October 2009 that vision became a reality. Women’s HealthCare Imaging Center is the manifestation of that dream. Today you will find Elli at this boutique state of the art facility, as a hands- on administrator she personally engages her patients and allows them to experience a caring and dignified approach to diagnostic imaging.
Dr. Lawrence Seltzer
Medical Director & Radiologist — Lawrence Seltzer, M.D.
Lawrence Seltzer M.D. is the Medical Director of Womens HealthCare Imaging. Doctor Seltzer graduated from UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He succussfully completed his intership at New Rochelle Hospital in NY and a residency in diagnostic radiology at Bronx- Lebanon Hospital. He was Fellowshipped trained at Cornell Hospital where he received extensive Ultrasound training. He has over 15 years of extensive breast imaging experience.
Doctor Lawrence Seltzer is certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology and is a diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners. He holds a license in vascular ultrasound by the ARDMS. Doctor Seltzer prides himself on his commitment to high quality and compassionate care for his patients.
Dr. Douglas Boxer
Radiologist — Douglas Boxer, M.D.
Women’s Healthcare Imaging is pleased to announce the appointment of Douglas C. Boxer, M.D. to its medical staff. A graduate of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Doctor Boxer completed an internal medicine internship at Faulkner Hospital in Boston and a residency in diagnostic radiology at Montefiore Medical Center and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City. He has subspecialty training in abdominal imaging, having completed a two-year fellowship in computed tomography, ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging at Boston’s Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center & Harvard Medical.
Doctor Boxer is certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology and is a diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners. The author of multiple peer-reviewed articles, he has presented at major medical conferences, including the Radiologic Society of North America’s Annual Assembly. Doctor Boxer has held clinical appointments at Tufts University School of Medicine and Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts as well as at local facilities including Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. Doctor Boxer is a member of the Radiologic Society of North America and has been acknowledged by his peers as one of New Jersey’s “Top Docs” in New Jersey Monthly magazine.
