I am writing this unsolicited letter to share an exceptional experience that I had at the Women’s Health Care Imaging Center in Union, New Jersey. For the past 19 years, I have frequented various hospital-based and stand-alone imaging facilities for breast mammography and ultrasound in both New York and New Jersey. The experience at Women’s Health Care Imaging is unparalleled and warrants the highest praise.
To begin with, the physical environment of the center is aesthetically pleasing with beautiful design features reminiscent of a spa atmosphere. The owners and staff take immeasurable pride in providing individualized attention for every patient, with little touches of care throughout the experience (i.e. providing a waiting area replete with iced tea, pastries, fruit, and candy). The equipment is state-of-the art and the technicians take time to ensure a thorough imaging examination. Most importantly, the place is run with heart and an ideology that sets it apart from so many factory models where patients are triple-booked and appointments are rushed to maximize the bottom line.
If I were to design an ideal imaging facility, the Women’s Health Care Imaging Center would be the template. It serves as a welcome oasis in a health care climate that has become so de-humanized. The owners and staff deserve the highest commendation for excellence in diagnostics and care. Once you experience such a unique facility, you will never want to go anywhere else.

Womens Healthcare Imaging was proud to celebrate our one year anniversary in October, 2010. Many thanks to our dedicated Doctor’s, hard working staff and our patients!

When our center was still in the planning stage, we discussed the most important things that we would personally want in an imaging center.

It was decided that dignity, trust and compassion were what mattered most to women (us) when they were having medical testing done.

We thought about something else… Hope!
